E-Vam Buddhist Insitute of New York seeks to foster the study and practice of the Kagyu and Nyingma lineages of Tibetan Buddhism in the west. E-Vam Institute works to promote understanding between the Buddhist traditions and the other major faith tranditions in the world as well as bring greater understanding between the various Buddhist schools and lineages themselves.
